The confidentiality of your personal data is important to us. This privacy commitment explains what personal data "BIROUL EUROPEAN DE REPREZENTARE" collects from you through our interactions and how we use that data.

What is personal data?
"Personal data" means any unique individual information regarding an identified or identifiable natural person ("data subject"), such as name, address, personal identification number, IP address or phone number, location data, an online identifier, or one or more factors specific to physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural, or social identity.
Every time we request your personal data, we will explain why we need it, where we store it, and who has access to it. Of course, we will inform you whenever you request, provide you with the information we hold about you, and delete it if you ask us to do so.
What personal data do we collect and why?
We collect personal data in order to successfully respond to your requests. You provide some of this data directly, for example when you send us a message through the contact form, or indirectly, through identifying data such as your IP address. We do not use your IP address to identify you, but we inform you that it is stored when you access our website, mainly for security reasons. You have the right to request deletion of your IP address.
Depending on your interactions with our website, the personal data we collect includes:
- First and last name – for identification;
- Email address – for communication;
- Phone number – for communication;
- Vehicle make and model – to understand which vehicle your enquiry refers to;
- Selected service – to understand the type of service you are interested in;
- Preferred booking date – if you choose to provide it;
- Message / additional details – if you choose to provide them;
- Privacy consent confirmation – confirmation that you agree with this Privacy Policy before sending the form.
The personal data requested when sending the form is used ONLY to contact you, assess your request, and respond to your enquiry. Afterwards, data required by tax regulations may also be requested for invoicing ordered products/services, if a contractual relationship is established.
Data transmitted involuntarily when you interact with our website:
- IP address – when you visit our website, your IP address is recorded. However, we do NOT use your IP address to identify you or for other purposes.
- Operating system, browser, browsing activity, and other information about how you interacted with the website. We may collect this information through cookies or similar technologies. For details, please also consult the Cookie Policy.
- To protect the contact form against abuse, we use Google reCAPTCHA v3, which may process technical data such as your IP address, the generated reCAPTCHA token, and browser/device signals strictly for security and spam-prevention purposes.
What is the legal basis for processing this data?
For the data you provide voluntarily through the contact form (name, phone number, email address, vehicle, selected service, preferred date, and message, if you choose to provide it), the legal basis is as follows:
- steps taken at the request of the data subject before entering into a contract or for contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) of Regulation (EU) 679/2016), in order to answer your request and prepare an offer or a booking;
- your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) of Regulation (EU) 679/2016), expressed by ticking the checkbox confirming that you agree with this Privacy Policy before submitting the form;
- our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) of Regulation (EU) 679/2016) in securing the website, preventing spam, fraud, and abusive use of the form, including through technical measures such as Google reCAPTCHA v3 and limited security logging.
Regarding data we collect automatically through cookies or similar technologies, the legal basis for processing is consent. By accessing the website and selecting the YES/Agree option, you validly give your consent for processing. For details, please also consult the Cookie Policy.
Purpose of data collection and use of personal information
You can choose regarding the data we collect. When you are asked to provide personal data, you have the right to refuse. If you choose not to provide data needed to deliver a service or communicate with us, you may not be able to obtain the information you want.

Data retention period
We store personal data only for the period necessary to handle your enquiry, manage any resulting booking, and maintain a reasonable record of our business communications.
If your enquiry leads to a contractual relationship, certain data may be retained for the periods required by accounting and tax legislation. Technical data processed for security and abuse-prevention purposes may be retained for limited periods proportionate to that purpose.
To whom do we transfer personal data?
We will not disclose your information to third parties to be used for their own marketing or commercial purposes without your consent.
However, we may disclose your information to the following entities:
- Service providers. We may disclose your information to other companies that provide services to us and act as processors, such as companies that help with website hosting and deployment, Vercel for processing contact form requests, our cPanel email provider for sending contact form emails, or Google for anti-spam verification via reCAPTCHA v3.
- These entities are selected with special care to ensure they meet specific personal data protection requirements. These entities have limited ability to use your information for purposes other than providing services to us.
- Information you provide, including identification data, may be used in commercial communications or responses to your requests, and in case of legitimate requests, may be transmitted to state authorities or other parties with your consent or based on your instructions.
Apart from the disclosures described in this Privacy Policy, we may transmit information to third parties to whom you consent or request us to make such disclosure.
What rights do you have as a data subject?
The protection of natural persons regarding the processing of personal data is a fundamental right. Article 8(1) of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union ("the Charter") and Article 16(1) of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) provide every person with the right to personal data protection.
Data subjects' rights regarding personal data protection and the free movement of such data include: the right to information and access; the right to intervene on data; the right to rectification; the right to data erasure; the right to restriction of processing; the right to data portability; the right to object and rights related to automated individual decision-making, including profiling; and the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority (www.dataprotection.ro).
